## 📝 Requirements
  
In addition to the judging requirements below, we are seeking projects that align with one of the following categories. These categories are designed to focus your innovation on key areas of the DeFi ecosystem where 0x APIs can have a significant impact:

1. Token On/Off Ramp: Projects should facilitate seamless token deposits, allowing users to use any tokens in their wallet without needing to leave the app to swap for a required token. For example, many apps require ETH, but users do not always have ETH on-hand and need to go to a third-party to make the exchange. By integrating 0x Swap and Tx Relay APIs, users can swap directly in-app into whatever token rather. This could even be automated in the back-end without users needing to take direct action. Focus on streamlining the user experience for entering and exiting token positions.
    a. Examples include but are not limited to Decentralized Indices, Lending, Perps, Derivatives, Yield Farming, Prediction Markets, Liquid Staking, Tokenized RWA, and Insurance Platforms. The sky's the limit!
2. Gaming and NFT Infrastructure: If your project is centered around web3 gaming or NFT infrastructure/marketplace, leverage 0x to enable users to conveniently swap into required tokens directly within your NFT marketplace or in-game environment. Your solution should enhance the user experience in acquiring, trading, or utilizing NFTs.
3. Trading Automation Tools & Infrastructure: Develop tools or infrastructure that automate aspects of trading using 0x APIs. Focus on innovations that enhance trading efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility for users in the DeFi space.
    a. Examples include but are limited to Risk Management tools, Trading bots, Solvers, Decentralized Mutual Funds, DeFi Index Rebalancing, Cross-chain interoperability (Swap API + CCTP)
4. Open Category: If your team has an innovative idea that does not fit into the above categories, we encourage you to discuss it with the 0x team. Visit us at our booth or reach out on the 0x Discord to explore how your unique concept can contribute to the 0x ecosystem.

## ✅ What does a successful project look like?
  
Success in this bounty hinges not only on technical proficiency but also on creativity, usability, and real-world applicability. Here are key features that would indicate a successful implementation, along with examples to guide builders:

1. Seamless 0x API Integration: A successful project integrate at least one of 0x APIs (Swap, Tx Relay, Price) in a way that feels natural and enhances the core functionality. For example, a token on/off ramp that uses the Swap API to allow users to effortlessly convert tokens within the app, reducing the need for external exchanges.
2. User-Centric Design: The project should prioritize the user experience, making complex DeFi interactions intuitive. For instance, a trading automation tool that offers a user-friendly interface for setting up and managing automated trades, catering to both novice and experienced traders.
3. Innovative Use Cases: We're looking for projects that push the boundaries of what's possible with 0x APIs. An example might be a gaming platform where in-game assets (NFTs) can be directly traded or swapped using 0x, seamlessly integrating with the game's economy.
4. Scalability and Performance: A successful project should not only work well at a small scale but also demonstrate potential for growth. For instance, a marketplace using 0x that significantly simplifies the NFT purchase process, attracting more users to the space due to its ease of use.
5. Documentation and Presentation: Comprehensive documentation and a clear, compelling presentation of the project are essential. This includes both the technical implementation as well as explanations of the design choices and how the project addresses specific user needs or market gaps.

Example of a Successful Feature Implementation:
Consider a gaming project in the Token On/Off Ramp category that enables users to deposit an array of ERC-20 tokens and automatically swaps them into the required token (e.g., ETH or a game-specific token) without leaving the platform. This project would demonstrate success through its seamless integration of the Swap API, providing a frictionless experience for users, enhancing liquidity, and demonstrating a clear understanding of user needs in the DeFi space.
## 🎨 UI/UX Design Requirements
  
If the project is user-facing, the following UI/UX requirements will be considered: 
1. Intuitiveness and Simplicity: The interface should be intuitive, even for users who are new to DeFi. Avoid overcomplicating the design. Simplify navigation and make key functionalities easily accessible.
2. Consistency and Clarity: Maintain a consistent design language throughout the application. Use clear, concise language and familiar icons to ensure that the functionality is easily understood.
3. User-Centric Approach: Design with the end-user in mind. This includes understanding the user journey, anticipating user needs, and designing to solve user problems effectively.
## 🤝 Impact on our organization
  
1. Feedback and Improvement: Working with external teams provides valuable feedback on the 0x APIs and infrastructure. This feedback is crucial for continuous improvement and can guide future development and enhancements.
2. Ecosystem Growth: 0x APIs are built on the open-sourced 0x Protocol. As teams work on projects integrating 0x APIs, they contribute to the growth and robustness of the 0x ecosystem which support the broader flow of tokenized value across the ecosystem to all contributors. 
3. Marketing Collaborations: Participants of the 0x bounty may be selected for future collaborations or partnerships. We love featuring our integrators and helping them!
## 🧑‍⚖️ How are we judging it?
  
All submissions must fulfill the following requirements to be considered valid:
1. 🛠 Implement at least one 0x APIs - Swap, Tx Relay, Price
    a. Created a 0x Dashboard account to obtain a 0x API key (test key is okay)
    b. Properly calls one of the API endpoints (e.g. Swap API /quote endpoint, Tx Relay /submit endpoint, Price /quote endpoint)
    c. The use case for the endpoint(s) makes sense from a user perspective
2. 💻 Technical Implementation
    a. The code well-written, technically sound, and clean
    b. Projects that are code-complete will have higher consideration than projects that are just in ideation
3. ✨ Innovation & Creativity
    a. The solution should not only be functional but also innovative. We are looking for unique approaches that stand out in terms of design, usability, or technical implementation.
4. 🌈 Design
    a. If the project is user-facing, project should demonstrate a clear understanding of user needs and present an interface that is intuitive and accessible.
5. 🌐 Adoption & Market
    a. The project has potential to gain real-world traction
    b. The project fills a market gap and has the potential to be adopted by a sizable and diverse audience
6. Project Scope & Overall Presentation
    a. Project scope is clearly defined and conveys how the solution simplifies or enhances the DeFi experience
    b. Project clearly describes the app architecture, codebase, and how the 0x APIs are integrated and utilized.

Across is an interoperability protocol powered by intents. Our V3 upgrade has just went live and we are so excited to see what interesting cross-chain products you can build to push the boundaries of interoperability with us! We’re looking for creative ways of harnessing the power of intents with our suite of cross-chain features.

What we’re looking for:
- Integration of Across+ (bridge + action transaction bundles) into a dapp
- Building a UI that gives end users the opportunity to receive better pricing on bridge transfers via auction (similar to UniswapX, 1inch Fusion auction mechanisms, integrating the Across V3 cross-chain settlement system)
What we’re not looking for: 
- A dapp that simply adds the Across bridge API to its UI
## ✅ What does a successful project look like?
  
Our team is most inspired by elegant interoperability solutions, particularly moving away from message-passing as the prevailing solution to interoperability and instead enabling users to express and achieve their desired outcome while abstracting cross-chain execution to trustless 3rd parties -- intent based interoperability.

Across is built on an intents-based architecture composed of 3 levels:
1. An order flow auction layer to ingest users’ desired outcomes, often in the form of a cross-chain limit order
2. A network of 3rd parties (relayers) competing to fulfill that outcome with their own capital 
3. A system to escrow user funds, verify intent fulfillment, and repay those 3rd parties. We think this system simplifies interoperability into this two step process: 
    a. A user's assets are moved (or swapped) from X on chain A to Y on chain B + 
    b. A user's desired action is then executed on the destination chain. 

We are interested in features that make use of this architecture, powered by intents, to solve interoperability challenges. One example would be to harness this framework to deploy your dapp on one chain and pull capital from any chain, rather than deploying your dapp on multiple chains to access siloed capital. It's an elegant solution that not only benefits developers by saving precious engineering resources, but one that you can use to attract users since it removes the tediousness of the bridging process from their to-do list. You can also takes things a step further by improving any layer of the Across system, such as designing a robust order flow auction to truly enable cross-chain limit orders (which Across doesn't _yet_ offer)
## 🎨 UI/UX Design Requirements
  
For UI/UX, web-based or CLI-based UI will be accepted. If someone can show something on a CLI then it should be achievable to port it to a web interface. 

Projects will not be judged more favorably for including flashy web interfaces. (Don't worry about spending too much time on this!)

It provides validation of our V3 protocol upgrade, gives our project a more robust ideas bank, and garners insights on the perception of our upgrade and its respective developer tools.
## 🧑‍⚖️ How are we judging it?
  
We are evaluating this bounty based on the depth of integration with Across v3 products and the creativity of use cases. To clarify, "deep" integration involves comprehensive utilization of Across v3's capabilities, such as incorporating features, functionalities, and seamless interaction within the Across ecosystem. Regarding the use cases we're seeking to solve, participants should consider the examples provided, such as leveraging Across+ Ideas Bank for Bridge + Action Bundling scenarios, including Bridge + LP, Bridge + Borrow/Lend, Bridge + Swap, Bridge + Receive destination gas token with transfer, and Bridge + Bet. Additionally, novel cross-chain order flow auction designs for the Cross-Chain Settlement System are encouraged. We're looking for innovative solutions that demonstrate creativity, potential market impact, improvement in user experience, and technical complexity. Participants are reminded that hacks may be submitted on testnets (e.g., Sepolia), mainnet, or on a local network, as long as the new functionalities are clearly demonstrated.

**Across+ Ideas Bank (Bridge + Action Bundling aka Cross-chain bridge hooks) :**
1. Bridge + LP - Siphon capital from any chain and into a staking contract on your dapp. Bundled transaction example: Bridge 1 ETH from Mainnet to Optimism, swap 0.5 ETH to 1000 USDC on Optimism, deposit 0.5 ETH and 1000 USDC into Uniswap WETH/USDC pool.
2. Bridge + Borrow/Lend - Pull capital from any chain and enter into a lending or borrowing position. Bundled transaction example: Bridge 1 ETH from Mainnet to Arbitrum (e.g) and add supply into Aave’s ETH market, sending resulting aTokens to user’s EOA on Arbitrum.
3. Bridge + Swap - Pull funds from the user’s home chain to complete a bid on an NFT on your dapp’s chain. Bundled transaction example: Bridge 0.5 ETH from Mainnet to Arbitrum (e.g), swap for 1,100 $MAGIC tokens, send 1,100 $MAGIC to NFT seller’s EOA
4. Bridge + Receive destination gas token with transfer. Bundled transaction example: Bridge an ERC-20 and swap a portion of it on the destination chain into the destination chain’s native gas token.
5. Bridge + Bet - Encourage protocol activity by removing the bridging hurdle and place a bet on Polymarket (e.g) from any chain. Bundled transaction example: Bridge token to destination chain and place bet on open Polymarket predictions.

**Cross-Chain Settlement System Ideas Bank:**
Novel cross-chain order flow auction designs - The first layer in the intent architecture is an order flow auction. Design an OFA (order flow auction) that allows a user to specify a cross-chain limit order (swap X on chain A to Y on chain B for some minimum amount, by some deadline) for a network of 3rd parties (relayers) to compete in to offer the best price _and _speed.

Innovating DeFi with Leo Wallet on Aleo: Privacy and Beyond

The OEV-Network enables dApps to recapture value previously lost on liquidation events through MEV. Using API3’s prebuilt searcher bot, modify an existing lending/borrowing protocol and distribute the liquidation profits in the most meaningful way.

## 📝 Requirements
  
- Your searcher bot must use the OEV Network to perform the price update
- Must be able to perform the liquidation
- Deliver an innovative and meaningful use of the new value captured through the OEV Network
- Must show logic on how the distribution of profits is performed
## ✅ What does a successful project look like?
  
Successfully able to win the price update bid using the OEV Network to perform the liquidation
Use the value returned back to the dApp for a new purpose:
- Demonstrate how the profits are being used 
- Consider how this can be executed with automation
- Deliver new incentive mechanisms or user features within borrow/lending platforms with OEV 
Examples:
- Fund public goods by auto distributing through a smart contract
- Reward current stakers of the dapp with a bonus (all the users get a share of the profit)
- Lower the penalty of the liquidation (instead of a standard of 5%, make it much smaller) all automated.
- Update an options position just before expiration to get the latest price

- No strict requirements for UX/UI, we prefer technical implementation.
- Please demonstrate with a potential defi user in mind where the profits have gone. 
- If there is a new feature introduced on a borrow/lending platform please demonstrate a simple UI/UX where possible.
## 🤝 Impact on our organization
  
Oracle Extractable Value (OEV) is a subset of MEV that changes the way liquidation events happen with a specialized type of Order Flow Auction. The OEV Network has been created so searchers can partake in OFA at the oracle level. This enables borrow/lending users to have a better experience during liquidation events.

Through developers taking on this challenge we hope to: 

- Lets users become familiar with our product
- Bring more voluntary searchers to the OEV Network
- Get feedback on impact of OEV on MEV

## 🧑‍⚖️ How are we judging it?
  
- Throughout EthDenver API3 will be mimicking a crypto market through a dummy price feed. This will be where searchers can deploy and capture OEV within liquidation events. Please refer to the resources for further details. 
- The judging will be based on the quantity of OEV extracted within the mimicked crypto market  The higher the overall profit the higher the bounty reward. 
- Outside of this, searchers that demonstrate highly successful optimizations within the competition could also reward a bounty prize. 
- As the hackathon progresses, the value extracted will lower over time.

- Runner up prize qualification:
    - If a team persistently refine the bot's strategy and sees significant improvements in the performance of the searcher, we will reward the continued optimization even though they not get the top 3 profits.
